About the Leeds Addiction Unit

The Addiction Unit is part of Leeds Mental Health NHS Teaching Trust. Our purpose is to help people who are experiencing problems with their use of alcohol or other drugs and to help their family or friends. We provide individual packages of care ranging from simple advice on how to reduce the harm of substance misuse through to more intensive treatment and aftercare with the aim of achieving an alcohol or drug free lifestyle.

Our clinical work is complemented by a national Training Department and a Priority and Needs Funded Research Programme.
